2008 Year Uncirculated 6 Coin Set  International Year of Planet Earth

The Royal Australian Mint has recognised the importance of this year and has adopted the theme for its 2008 Year Sets. The Year Set designs were developed in partnership with Geoscience Australia – a peak body for IPYE activities in Australia. In the Uncirculated set, the reverse of the 20 cent piece features powerful images of tsunami, floods, plate movement and salinity reminding us of the impact geological issues have on our survival.
