2008 $1 Rolled Coin Centenary of Scouts Australia

In response to collector demand, the Royal Australian Mint reintroduced rolled coin in 2007 featuring the APEC circulating coins after many years of absence. This year, to recognise the contribution that Scouting has made and will continue to make in Australia, the Mint will be rolling the 2008 commemorative $1 circulating coin honouring the Year of Scouts Australia.

A maximum issue of 20 000 rolls will be issued and these will be “The onlycoins rolled by the Royal Australian Mint this year in 2008”
